Lucky Lester
here with a little Preseason NFL info for all you guys out there who,
like me, are counting the days till the NFL regular season kicks off (no
pun intended). Until it does we have a little preseason action to whet
our appetites. If you guys are anything like me I like to gauge how my
favorite teams are shaping up for future games by really taking a look
at their preseason games. I can't speak for anybody else but when the
mood strikes me I even place a little wager or two during the preseason
with my favorite online sport book. If you do too then you might find
my Winning Tips helpful during the NFL preseason.
Lucky
Lester's NFL Winning Tips
Quarterback,
Running Back Position Battles, Key Winning Wagers
Well here
I go again with some more NFL Football Preseason Winning Tips to increase
your success on NFL Football Betting with Internet Sport books. As you
may recall or if you missed last
week's article, I identified five teams whose poor reserve Quarterback
play should be your key to betting against them in the NFL Football preseason.
Seeing as
I gave you 5 NFL Football Teams to bet against last week for the NFL preseason,
I had better give you some NFL teams to bet on. This week I examined five
teams involved in hotly contested competitions at starting Quarterback
or Running Back or both.
The outcome is critically important for the regular season and can overshadow
a coach's desires to protect his starters by pulling them early. The savvy
bettor can take advantage with winning wagers.
1. New
York Giants
Former 2-time NFL MVP, Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning's celebrated younger
brother, Eli, are dueling for the top Quarterback slot. Rejuvenated Ron
Dayne is pushing hard for starting time at Running Back, along with Tiki
Barber. These preseason battles are entertaining and fun to watch and
demand your preseason attention.
2. Oakland
Raiders
Norv Turner must decide on his stating Quarterback and must sort out his
running game from a host of candidates. Rich Gannon, a pro and Super Bowl
Quarterback, just two years ago must try and fend off a much younger and
stronger Kerry Collins. Collins acquired for big money in the off-season
is not content to sit on the bench. Raider star Running Back, Charlie
Garner departed for Tampa Bay and Coach Turner must find a new workhorse.
Tyron Wheatley, Justin Fargas, and J. R. Redmond should see extended duty
in the preseason with the starting offensive line.
3. Washington
Redskins
New coach, Joe Gibbs brought in veteran Quarterback, Mark Brunell for
security, but the young incumbent, Patrick Ramsey will not hand the job
over without a fight. Superstar Running Back, Clinton Portis needs on-field
time to mesh with the new team.
4. Tampa
Bay Buccaneers
Rumors persist that Coach Guden is intent on upgrading over Brad Johnson
at Quarterback. Young Chris Simms has looked sensational and has pushed
veteran Brian Griese to third string. All three should play plenty. Take
advantage of this preseason situation and bet Tampa Bay!
5. Miami
Dolphins
The Dolphins have been devastated by Ricky Williams retirement and David
Boston's season ending injury. Bet the Dolphins have bargain rates. Wannstedt
must settle on his starting signal caller between Jay Fiedler and newcomer
A.J. Feeley. He also will be auditioning for starters at Running Back
and Wide Receiver. The Dolphins disaster could be your bonanza in the
preseason.
6. Baltimore Ravens (Bonus Pick)
The Ravens dominating, and deep defense never surrenders points easily.
Although there are no high profile position battles, the Ravens "Defence"
has plenty of stud athletes that are doing anything to make this team.
Big, fast, and strong, the second string guys could start on most any
other team. With this in mind, bet Baltimore and watch them smother preseason
offenses with ease.
WAGERING
SMART MAKES WATCHING PRESEASON NFL GAMES FUN
Good Luck
with your NFL Football Wagering!
